Located in Bronx in New York City, the Yankee Stadium opened at the beginning of the 2009 MLB season to replace it’s previous home at the orginal Yankee stadium which closed in 2008 after being open for an impressive 85 years! 5. Santiago Bernabeu has a whopping capacity of 85, 454 spectators and is owned by the Real Madrid Club de Futbol. The birth of the impressive stadium dates back to the 14th December 1947, and was officially opened with a match against Portuguese champions! The Bernabeu hosted the Euro 1964 Championships, with one of the two semi-finals and final between Spain and the Soviet Union (2-1).
